i think we believed they were fully gaslit into the Sunken Place by their husbands and that their reality was not remotely as depicted; to some extent everyone on here is performing, there’s not much depiction of setting up the software and the lighting and doing takes outside of meta comedy accounts. I think the reason they went through the Algorithm Parade for everyone was in large part due to the implied discrepancy for non trads, and lying the lie is kind of a dogwhistle thing for trads. its a performance understood to be an act of antagonism to a specific opposing performance

I am not a tradwife, but I have a small farm and grow a lot of my food and cook from scratch while working remotely in tech and let me tell you, I have no time to video all that and edit it. 😆. I’ve always thought of them cosplaying because it’s profitable. There is no way that either one of them are on their hands and knees digging in the dirt and soaked in sweat like I am. More people need to get with reality.
