@chipproutah: Not every crack can/should be repaired. Not every cracked windshield needs to be replaced. No, the repair will not disappear completely, especially from a head-on angle. Visibility does not mean a failed repair. And “invisible” does not always mean strong/good repair. The goal is to restore strength, stop the damage from spreading, improve appearance, and save the original windshield when the damage is actually repairable. Length alone is not the whole story. Location, stress, contamination, glass condition, resin strength, tools, and technician skill all matter. This is all we do. If they failed as much as people claim, we would’ve been out of business a long time ago. We also wouldn’t offer the warranty we offer.
