Information Technology and Computer Science is still worth it specially here in the Philippines.
Why it pays well?
- High demand for software developers, cloud engineers, and cybersecurity experts by global companies. Some key jobs are Software engineer, data analyst, IT security specialist etc.
PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭 (major transition to tech) isn't the same as USA 🇺🇸 (more advanced)
I said what i need too 🧠💯

I’m going to be frank only reason I tried my best to enter a big 3 uni and pay a lot is to use my charisma to network and marry rich so me getting a job is optional. A Big 3 degree doesn’t buy you an education it buys you a network and opportunities that’s why majority of billionaires are business majors. Same reason why charismatic politicians succeed further than effective ones.

College is still very worth. Kahit anong course (except criminology). Your skills will be needed elsewhere kahit unrelated sa degree mo. Actually it’s the bare minimum nowadays. Since almost libre na ang college for many people.

in other countries, you can get a high/stable paying work and still be able to have a work life balance and you don't need to hold a degree/diploma for it.

I’m not defending the Arroyo administration or overlooking the corruption issues it faced, but one thing worth pointing out is that labor and employment seemed to receive far more attention back then. Today, it feels like almost every political discussion revolves around corruption, and while that absolutely deserves scrutiny, we also need to demand concrete solutions for unemployment, underemployment, wages, and job creation. A government should be judged not only by how it fights corruption, but also by how well it helps Filipinos find stable, dignified work.
