My son is 14 got his first summer job this summer. I immediately opened up a custodial Roth IRA for him. He and his sister will benefit from the strategies that were never taught to me ☺️

Sadly a lot of people is living paycheck to paycheck and cannot contribute to 401K, the government need to pass Legislation making it mandatory for companies to bring back a pension plan.

There will be a lot more people unable to retire in the future. Some people spend everything they make and wouldn’t make it a week if they lost their jobs.

It’s crazy how many ppl don’t seem to understand they are going to live a loooong time past 65. I always planned to live to 100, and invested accordingly. Now I’m 67 and am happy to say I can live a great life off my dividends & social security, and may never have to touch the principal. Maybe I will have to, but it’s there. Don’t make the mistake of thinking you can’t be master of your destiny

People assume they will be healthy enough to continue working FT past 60 and it’s crazy. Not to mention the difficulty of finding a new job due to age discrimination if u lose ur job as an elder. I don’t play about my retirement savings!

that is a hard thing, there are so many variations because life can change so quickly, some people are just struggling to live from day to day and some people live beyond their means, sadly 50 dollars can be a lot for some people, it is all about situations, I admit I may have made some bad decisions but I was trying to keep a roof over my kid's heads🤷♀️
