I'm not saying this to dis you but Jesus indeed did wear a very expensive fine garment, it was woven out of 1 single thread which was extremely rare and dyed in purple which also was hard to achieve and typically a color for Royals. . I'm not saying you have to get into debt to dress for church, just want to clear up that jesus didn't just wear whatever.

Peter Volinobigv :

You said it to best a no one could’ve said it better than you God is interested in the spirit not to close you’re wearing on your back. Who cares what you’re wearing it doesn’t mean you’re so right about that. You have a blessed day all the best.

I partially agree. We all come to Jesus as we are. However, the church should largely be a gathering place for the body of Christ to worship God and strengthen one another in our faith. Somewhere along the way, we as believers got lazy and decided the church was the mission field. So we try to get people to church to meet Jesus, rather than introducing Him out in the field. I don’t think that’s what the intention of the gathering of believers was. But, most everywhere Jesus went, there were non-believers with him…yet there were times he withdrew to be with a select few. Once you have kids you start thinking different where you want a place for them grow in their walk with Christ with other believers. If someone is there genuinely seeking Answers, I wouldn’t turn them away.

God doesn’t care about your clothes, it’s your heart and what’s in it. Stay blessed beautiful.

Diminex :

Jesus didn’t dress nice, but he did dress modestly. There’s no person in the US who doesn’t have certain clothes that are more modest than their normal wear👍🏻💙

The truth is that what you wear matters 😅. Jesus is interested in your physical and your spiritual. Spiritual reveal by outward too. The Bible abstained from the appearance of evil.
