I get it, but it's still sad to think that kids will grow up surrounded by monochrome packaging. Some of my favorite childhood memories are tied to the colorful packaging of the snacks I loved 😭

That is definitely a solution! It will be hard for tourists and people like me who lived there, but couldn’t read Japanese, who rely on the pictures and colors to help figure out what it is! 😬

I am curious since the company mentioned that the product is staying the same but now that there’s not a picture to indicate what you’re buying does that mean that they can change the size and portion since the display laws wouldn’t apply?

As a tourist (I get prob a small margin of their income) I have no clue what’s in the bag now 😅. I rely on the pics and colors to tell me what i might like trying. At least keep a cardboard color image next to the item or something 🤷♂️
