This is hilarious I can’t get my local council to upgrade any of my property !!! The cast iron gutters are falling down the windows are 40 years old as long as it’s still standing all be it wonky they will leave it !!!!!

what if you do it and it still doesn't reach a C? my daughter just did her epc last month and it got downgraded from a B to a C ..it's only a 8 year old house ! so they are downgrading now

* If your property achieves EPC C before the new system fully takes effect (currently up to 30 September 2029), that C-rated EPC remains valid for its normal 10-year life, even after the new rules come into force. * If your property is still Band D, having a valid EPC until 2037 does not exempt you from the new minimum standard that is due to apply from 1 October 2030. The legal requirement is expected to override the remaining validity of a D-rated certificate.
