I worked in downtown Manhattan in 2001. About a 15 minute walk from the World Trade Center. I had just come back from Amsterdam a few days before 9/11 and was time-shifted so I was crashed out in my parents' basement in New Jersey on 9/11, 20 miles away from ground zero. My father told all his relatives I was trapped in the towers that day, barely made it out alive.
