This would also be great for teens. There is dragons, wolves, academia and of course, magic! The MFC is the only survivor in a plane crash as a dragon saves her from the wreckage. She is later accepted into a school that trains dragon riders. There is a little romance sprinkled in and the action is entertaining. This is book 1 of a series.
