Transparency Matters. The Constitution Matters. On 7 December 2025, NRNA Australia publicly announced the appointment of Directors, NCC Members and NCC Advisors for the 2025 to 2027 term. As financial members, we all have a responsibility to ensure that every appointment is made in accordance with the NRNA Australia Constitution. The Constitution provides: Clause 20.2 provides that where casual vacancies arise for positions including NCC Members, the NCC may nominate eligible members to fill those vacancies. More importantly, Clause 20.4 states: “Any person, either nominated or appointed under this clause or anywhere in this Constitution must pay the applicable nomination fee for the position to be appointed or nominated for the given election calendar to be the formal nominated or appointed position holder for the Association.” This constitutional requirement exists to ensure fairness, transparency and accountability for every member. As a financial member of NRNA Australia, I respectfully seek clarification as to whether the constitutional requirements, including Clause 20.4, had been satisfied before the appointments announced on 7 December 2025. This post is not an allegation against any individual, nor is it intended to prejudge anyone. It is a genuine request for transparency and constitutional accountability. If all constitutional requirements were complied with before the appointments, I welcome the Board providing that clarification publicly for the benefit of all members. If you are a financial member of NRNA Australia, I respectfully encourage you to write to the Board of Directors and the General Secretary requesting clarification on the following: 1. Whether every nominated or appointed office holder had satisfied the requirements of Clause 20.4 before the appointments announced on 7 December 2025. 2. Whether the Board confirms that all appointments were made in accordance with the NRNA Australia Constitution. 3. If any constitutional requirement had not been satisfied at the relevant time, what action has been taken to ensure compliance with the Constitution. Every financial member has the right to ask respectful questions about governance and constitutional compliance. This is not about personalities. This is not about politics. This is not about factions. It is about ensuring that the Constitution applies equally to every member, regardless of position. Transparency builds trust. Accountability protects organisations. Good governance begins with following the Constitution. I will continue to raise these issues respectfully, lawfully and through proper processes because I believe in integrity, transparency and accountability. I believe in justice.
