@offical.account20: Best of Opera - 🎤 Plácido Domingo & José Carreras — My Way He was 49 years old and at the peak of the opera world when he decided to record a song that wasn't even classical. Plácido Domingo never did what was expected. While other tenors limited themselves to the sacred repertoire, he crossed boundaries—recording zarzuela, conducting orchestras, directing opera houses. But this was different. "My Way," the song immortalized by Sinatra, didn't demand operatic vocal technique. It demanded raw truth. And Domingo brought José Carreras—his friend, rival, partner in the Three Tenors—to share the stage. Two giants of opera, singing about choices and regrets in a pop ballad. 🎬 What makes this moment rare isn't the voice. It's the choice. Domingo was never afraid to step outside the role he was assigned. He sang more than 150 different characters—a record no tenor has ever broken. But here there are no characters. Just two men, two parallel careers, two versions of the same question: was it worth it? Domingo's #PlacidoDomingo
