I’ve been a fan since 2014, and I’m not here to judge or attack anyone, even though I know some fake fans who call themselves real fans will rush to defend her.
I’ve defended her too, even when things seemed obvious, but I can’t stay silent anymore. We need to help her, even if there’s only so much we can do. When an eating disorder reaches the point where it starts affecting your organs, there may not be a way back.
I just want to see her healthy and happy.
I’m trying to approach this situation carefully, but maybe starting a movement—something like #FreeBritney—could actually help. And yes, I know it’s contradictory to say this during an album that’s telling people to stop talking, but this isn’t hate. This is a cry for help.
We are here because of her, but she’s also where she is today because of us. Ariana Grande exists as the global artist she is because millions of us have supported her. I truly believe we owe it to her to help her find peace.
And please, don’t tell me that she said she’s mentally at her best or at her healthiest physically. I understand she’s been through so much—I know her story, her trauma, and everything she’s endured as a devoted fan—but to me, it’s hard not to be concerned.
If she needs to step away from the spotlight, even if that means taking a break from music, then so be it. Seeing her healthy and genuinely happy would mean far more to me than getting another album.
