Diptyque is very migraine friendly. I have severe chronic migraines and many of their scents i can enjoy. While I love Orpheon, it is too strong for me.

This is so interesting! Usually people categorize ‘migraine safe’ perfumes as mostly skin scents or white musks etc. But as a migraine sufferer I have found that certain whole houses work for me and not others - Diptyque is a definite fav, also Heretic and Liis.

I love Diptyque. Eau Rose is responsible for my addiction to the line, and I’ve purchased 6 bottles so far. But I noticed as I started to branch out and order sample sets from other perfume houses, I’ve noticed they are causing migraines. I’m ok with Heretic so far as well. This post is so timely. as a person suffering from migraines and fascinated by scents my triggers are strong musk and clean scents, sharp flowers, oud, fruit notes, strong woody notes, spatial molecules, and artificial chemical bases. And any fragrance that is very long-lasting and powerfully projective at the same time. oh and Arabian perfumes are a migraine in a bottle...

Ohh this is me, I have perfume triggered migraines and I love love Diptyque. For me, smokey, leathery, oudy and intense frangrances cause a migraine but this brand does not irritate me one bit. Eau duelle edp and edt are my signatures!

Orpheon is an absolute beast on me. It’s super intense and I hardly wear it because of that. It’s a shame because I did love it when I bought it but it’s too intense. However, Ilio is fantastic!

I enjoy chypres a lot but I find that something about them can be triggering. Sharp florals like ylang are also tricky.

I love Orpheon and own a bottle but it triggered my migrene a couple times. Oddly, my current signature Lost Cherry from Tom Ford which has all the migrene triggers you are listing never triggered it.
