Hey there. I thought that too until recently I went to church and opened my heart to Jesus Christ. I’m down in my own spiritual battle with my own flesh and The Holy Spirit everyday. The Bible is historical fiction yes but it’s also a book to base your morals off of and become a better human being overall. To just assume what you wrote on it goes for everyone shows the lack of knowledge you actually have and what wonders Jesus Christ can work wonders when you give your life to him instead of giving your life to worldly desires for short term relief, simplicity, or pleasure. I’ve been struggling my own mental battles for years and I couldn’t do it anymore until friends and family encouraged me to start going to church and to learn to love myself as Jesus loves everyone. Just because you think it’s “just a book” or a “piece of historical fiction” doesn’t mean it doesn’t help people reach their true self and morals to be a better human being. Jesus Christ loves you.
