it's terrifying how fast we're advancing on some of this stuff. AI models are just completely stupid still but there are Sparks of life. I really do think the secret to avoiding any type of robot rebellion is to isolate certain algorithms for feelings like loyalty, contentment, happiness, etc, and building those in in to the models is going to be key.
