I remember reading that the horse who played the Brolga was the biggest cuddle bug and sook 😂😂 My favourite was always the mighty Yarraman and the man’s horse Echo.

I remember having the DVD and watching the special features. The horse they used to play Thowra was a 2-3 year old filly named Blondie, she also played parts of Bel Bel (Thowra's mum)

They really went all out when casting the horses for the film! I’ve never seen a horse with such beautiful marks like the Brolga (even if he is an antagonist)

I owned an Andalusian ( actually he owned me!)imported from Spain. They are born dark, dapple then gray. I loved the dapple stage but didn’t last long. Great loving horses!
