SPOILERS AHEAD: Lowen finds the manuscript and reads about what happened to the twins. One drowned on the lake, the other one had a severe allergic reaction to nuts. In the manuscript it is written as if Verity was responsible for the death of both girls, and it had been done deliberately. Lowen begins to have a relationship with Jeremy. She has her own suspicions that Verity can move but can’t confirm it. Eventually, Lowen tells Jeremy about the manuscript and Jeremy in a fit of rage, plots to murder Verity the same way she “killed” their little girls, by choking. Lowen does the job, and they’re free. While packing their things to move away, Lowen finds a separate letter confirming that the manuscript was actually false and it was done out of grieve, while it was also a kind of method acting for a villain she was writing in her book series. Lowen finds out in said letter that Jeremy had known all along about the manuscript and it is believed that he was responsible for the accident that left Verity in her vegetative state. In the end Lowen doesn’t know what’s real and what’s fake, but ultimately decides to stay with Jeremy and his son

so i finished the book a long time ago and here's what i can remember is that lowen had a relationship with Jeremy she's scared that verity would find out their relationship because she suspects that verity isn't motionless and eventually told Jeremy about the manuscript, hmmm i forgot the rest but they moved out (lowen and jeremy) and she read a piece of the manuscript that maybe the autobiography wasn't true and it was her way of coping about her loss with her twins and she blames herself about their deaths so made herself look bad so at the end you'll never know if verity is evil or not. or was it jeremy all along

I think the manuscript is fake .. verity is an author and I could tell it was fiction when she described the spicy moments with her husband 😅the letter is what’s true
