My biggest tip to not over spend when having a credit card is set up a little savings pot and as you spend on the credit card move that amount of money from your current account into the savings pot until the end of the month when you pay it off. Then you’re getting points from your credit card for spending on it, not going over your means AND you’re getting interest on your spending money whilst it’s in the savings pot!
