A YouTuber who staged a fake gaming livestream to create an alibi while he murdered his pregnant girlfriend has been sentenced to a minimum of 31 years in prison. Prosecutors said Stephen McCullagh pre-recorded a six-hour gaming stream and broadcast it as if it were live, allowing him to appear online while carrying out the attack on 32-year-old Natalie McNally, who was 15 weeks pregnant. Investigators later uncovered the deception through technical analysis, CCTV footage, and other evidence. McCullagh was found guilty of the brutal, premeditated murder and the death of their unborn child. 💬 Do you think criminals who use technology and social media to create elaborate alibis should face even harsher penalties when their deception is uncovered? 🤔⚖️ For deeper coverage and ongoing updates, listen to Crime House 24/7 at https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/crime-house-24-7/id1791784469 or wherever you get your podcasts. #CrimeHouse #BreakingNews #CrimeNews #TrueCrime
A chaotic mass shooting erupted near the annual Old West End Festival in Toledo, Ohio, leaving 12 people wounded, including two victims in critical condition. Police say at least two gunmen opened fire around 5:30 p.m., apparently shooting at each other as families and festivalgoers scrambled for cover. The victims range in age from 14 to 61 years old, and authorities described the scene as one of the most overwhelming they have encountered. Investigators believe innocent bystanders were caught in the crossfire as bullets tore through the crowded area. No arrests have been made, and a manhunt is underway as detectives search for multiple suspects. The violence forced organizers to cancel the remainder of the festival, turning what was supposed to be a community celebration into a scene of panic, bloodshed, and unanswered questions. A Los Angeles jury has ordered convicted killer Rebecca Grossman and former MLB pitcher Scott Erickson to pay more than $20 million in punitive damages to the family of brothers Mark Iskander, 11, and Jacob Iskander, 8, who were killed in a 2020 crash. The latest award comes on top of a previous $176 million verdict for wrongful death and emotional distress, bringing the total judgment to nearly $200 million. Jurors found that Grossman and Erickson acted with malice and were responsible for the tragedy that took the lives of the two young boys. Prosecutors said Grossman was driving at high speed when her Mercedes SUV struck Mark and Jacob as they crossed the street with their family in Westlake Village. Grossman was convicted in 2024 of murdering the boys and is currently serving a sentence of 15 years to life in prison. Although Erickson’s vehicle did not strike the children, jurors found he acted in concert with Grossman in the events leading up to the crash. The Iskander family said no verdict can ever replace their sons, but they are grateful the jury recognized the magnitude of their loss. Was this verdict enough?
