The child’s death is a heartbreaking tragedy, but it was an accident, not an act of intent. Lethal force is never a simple answer, yet in real time the variables are too many and too fast-moving for perfect decision‑making. He responded to the danger as he understood it in that instant. The mother's law suit is understandable but will not bring her child back. Pay her what she asked for. Her pain will never go away. Im so sorry for her loss. 🙏

So, the female cop stated that the little boy was stabbed in the head as well. Presuming by the suspect. My question is… Would the little boy have survived had he not been shot? It’s a horrible situation. I feel so bad for the mom and the cop.

I’m all for the parent because it could’ve went down differently. You should not be shooting a person holding another person that’s wild work. Because in reality, the man did not unalived the little boy, the police did.
