June and July were brutal for new investors that were in the AI sector. I invested heavy in this area in the beginning of June (terrible timing) and once the SpaceX IPO hit, everything took a major turn and dollar cost averaging drained me. I took advantage of the big AI bounce on Thursday and got out of all of it with at least some dignity.
