I'm a Kagura user since 2017 and I have 5k+++ match already. I think some reasons why Kagura isn't meta are because mastering Kagura needs high logic, good comprehension of macro and micro, a good understanding for strategy, and a very dependable teamwork than other mage. 1. High logic, it's because Kagura is a burst mage with weakness of her own umbrella and her target should be effective: Marksman, Mage, and other low HP heroes 2. Good macro and micro, because you need to understand when to help your teammates with Kagura's skill and and also a big understanding when to rotate each lanes without losing mid tower 3. A good understanding for strategy, because once you walk on your own without any calculation, then your Kagura will only become a feeder. Without strategy, your Kagura can't focus on the effective targets like number 2 that I mentioned above. 4. A very dependable teamwork, because if your team has zero guys to gang the enemies or giving back ups, then your Kagura will become a chicken.

she’s one of my mains, but she’s very high risk, low reward on high-rank. You have to do everything perfectly; the timing, positioning, targeting. Other mages can deal more AoE damage without much effort.

not good in teamfights, can't perform CC chain and terrible AOE, it could work on rank games if you have good mastery but in pro scene it will never work cuz most of the players knows buy&sell so a single combo hero is not enough in late games✌

gw user kagura, menurut gw dri clear lane nya lama, mobilitas nya jg kurang ( dibanding mage lain), dan paling penting harus bgt snowball, karna klo udh kalah dri awak susah buat comeback in, dan klo combo salah atau udh selesai ya gbs ngapa ngapain lagi, cuma bisa ngepoke aja, kagura enak klo lawan punya banyak cc, atau tipis tipis dan ga lincah

she isn't meta 'probably' because most metas for mid are usually utility/range mages (yve, gord, zhux). there are also burst ones, but they are usually sure kill ones like kadita/Eudora this season.

she can't win early trades like eudora she can't secure kills she has close to no stun her kit can easily get countered by high mobility heroes she's a burst mage but her combos are pretty predictable.
