I had mine for about half a year and it not very tame with them yet but they seem to get more tame but I never let them out of their cage bc I’m scared they won’t go back and that they may die I need help cs I feel terrible

I had two budgies and one died. I’m scared that if I get another budgie for the one thats still with me, he won’t accept him and that he will harm him. And yet it’s so hard for me to think that my budgie is alone when I’m not home and that the chirping is not as loud as it was when it was the two of them 😞

Reminder that budgies can live perfectly happy and healthy lives without another one. But if they show signs of loneliness or depression then another one might help but it isn’t an instant fix bc they could hate each other forever
