Let me tell you a piece of history. During the ancient times when men and women had to hunt and gather, things weren't like this. Men and Women worked side by side. Men handled external affairs and women handled internal affairs but it was only because hunting had risks. Women weren't put into risk because of lineage continuation. By the way, more than 70 percent food came from women's gatherings than men because they couldn't catch preys often. Then the era of agriculture came, men started owning lands. The class system was invented. There were wars in which men died. The elites realized that they needed more men and the men could only come from women but women won't agree to be constantly pregnant and produce more men for war so they stripped women of their rights and brainwashed men into the idea of 'masculinity' which meant that one isn't a man if he can't control a woman. They also invented slavery, class and removed goddesses and great women from the scripture. They made women slaves in both open way (wife) and hidden way (slave). They invented the concept of chastity for women and experience in the case of men (double standards). They made slurs about women. Some framed it as 'protection' so women won't realize the extent of oppression. It's not all men but most men. Why most men? Because of their toxic fathers and male friends. Those who actually care about people don't last long. The toxic ones oppress them first and treat them just as they do with women. Women are constantly being oppressed. Some women also take part in oppressing because they have been throughly brainwashed and the generational Stockholm syndromes have affected their ability to think. Remember women. We were oppressed. We are being oppressed. We will continue to be oppressed if we don't continue to fight. Remember If they really wanted well, they wouldn't have forced us. They would keep their gaze lowered. Because they would know better than to do something like that. Because in reality if someone commits a sin, forcing them or beating them into committing virtue has no benefits instead it only adds sins to the violent one. So it was always oppression

Obviously. Women have always been one of the pillars of a patriarchal society. For that system to keep going, they had to be influenced from an early age so they'd end up reinforcing it themselves. That's why I say women's oppression wasn't maintained only through violence, but also through emotional and psychological control. Shaping the way they thought and making them idealize certain roles was far more effective than relying on physical force alone. Violence creates fear, but fear can also turn into the courage to fight back. Manipulation is different. It makes people believe those roles are natural and right, which makes the control much harder to notice. That's why influencing how women thought and felt was such an important part of keeping that system alive.
