Grease a baking dish (I use a 24 x 24cm) 2. Layer the sliced bananas 3. Pour over 1 cup custard 4. Mix the dry cake mix with the melted butter until it forms coarse crumbs 5. Sprinkle over the top 6. Bake at 170°C fan-forced for 40 - 50 minutes until golden & bubbling

I made this and it was delicious but hear me out! Followed your method and used 2 cans of peaches in syrup, butter cake mix and melted butter. Cook it then add the custard when serving. My lorrrrd. Husband is already asking for it to be made again.
