The Day SpongeBob Lost His Laugh One sunny morning in Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob woke up and realized something was terribly wrong. He couldn’t laugh. Patrick burst through the door, grinning from ear to ear. “Good morning, SpongeBob! Ready for jellyfishing?” SpongeBob tried to giggle, but all that came out was a tiny squeak. Patrick gasped. “Your laugh! It’s gone!” The two friends searched all over Bikini Bottom. They looked under jellyfish, inside the Krusty Krab freezer, and even asked Squidward if he’d seen it. “I wish I had,” Squidward sighed. “Then I’d hide it forever.” Mr. Krabs offered a reward: one free Krabby Patty to anyone who found SpongeBob’s laugh. Soon the whole town joined the search. Finally, Gary meowed and pointed toward Jellyfish Fields. There, floating inside a giant bubble, was SpongeBob’s laugh—a bright, sparkling sound bouncing around like music. Patrick carefully poked the bubble with his finger. POP! The laugh flew straight back into SpongeBob. “HAHAHAHAHAHA!” The joyful laugh echoed across Bikini Bottom. Jellyfish danced, bubbles floated through the air, and even Squidward smiled… for about half a second. Patrick laughed too. “I knew we’d find it!” SpongeBob grinned. “Sometimes the best adventures start when something important goes missing.” And the two best friends spent the rest of the day jellyfishing, laughing louder than ever.
