Full grown adult here. I did this twice with my casts. I asked the X-ray tech if she needed it off and her face 😳 then I asked do I put it back on 😬. It was replaced and I was given a warning. 2nd one came

This is such a common problem with waterproof casts!! once swelling comes down, they slide right off because there is no traction whereas regular casts have a sock and cotton that provide traction even after swelling comes down

tell her to quit doing that, I did it so much after I broke my wrist as a kid that the orthopedic doctor still remembers me 🤣 I had to bring my kids to see him and he walked in and yelled "oh no! Houdini had kids and now they're back!" I got out of every single one he put on but now my tendons are messed up and I still get pain in the break. He kept trying to tell me, I didn't listen and thought it was funny. I think I aged my mom and him significantly in 6 weeks 😂

problem with Cast like that and if it's too tight then you don't get the blood circulation. that's when you tell her to put it back on and leave it on. I'm pretty sure she's took off and on without you seeing
