I lost a "friend" of 50 years over the Felon. She adamantly supported him and said she was proud to support him. She is from Texas and with that distance, I never realized how racist she was. It has broken my heart. But its about character. 🥺😡

My daughter cut me out of their lives because (they live in GA and are tRumpers) she cannot believe how liberal I am. That was how she was raised, however. Guess it is a location situation.

Similar situation here. Friends for over 30 years, kids 1 week apart, joint family vacations, etc. We live in deep red territory, I voiced my opposing opinion, that was it.
