Men pretend so hard they’re having smex with a woman on a screen they have an orgasm and our lame society says this is fine for men who claim to want monogamy to do this. I’ll be faithful and monogamous because that’s my nature if I ever get into a relationship again but I will always protect myself. Get on Prep and if I get real proof he’s cheating I’m out. Enjoy it while it last. Never think a man is going to be yours forever. It’s only a moment. Get what you can from it. Be independent and happy alone so when he’s gone you won’t be completely devastated.

I think at least 3/4 of my exs cheated, by the time I suspected i didn't care cos I hated them, I remember wishing he would leave me for her but they never make it that easy so you have to end it

I think people just need to be honest with themselves AND their partners of course. Monogamy isn’t for everyone, and I think that leads to non monogamous women feeling stuck and non monogamous men cheating. I think people need to really find if they want to be monogamous, and be ok leaving a relationship with a person whose needs don’t match yours which is always very hard.

at 51 I have zero interest in committing to a man again. what a bloody headache. nope. I'm so tired after 25 years (and yes, he cheated of course) even discussing monogamy is too taxing. for me the solution is just avoid a committed relationship with a man altogether. I'll have friends and that's it.

I cheated on my ex for the passion and attention of it and in the end he blamed himself for not treating me right and that he brought it on himself. This is what they expect women to do and they expect to stay together. Deep down I wanted him to leave me because I was not in love with him.

I totally get this but the risk is always on the woman - stds, pregnancy, violence. One of the basic reasons women prefer monogamy. But I know it’s not realistic. It’s just so messy for the woman.
