I woke up in this beautiful luxury gem tucked away in Trassaco called @Casagrandè 🏠 , and somehow it didn’t even feel like I was in Accra. Hidden in one of the city’s quietest neighborhoods, it reminded me that sometimes peace isn’t found miles away, it’s simply found in a different environment. I woke up to soft jazz playing in the background, and in that moment I realized that one of the best things you can do for yourself is change your surroundings, even if it’s only 40 minutes from home. After breakfast, I spent almost an hour by the pool, letting the water wash away the noise in my mind before heading to the gym to get my workout in because no matter where I travel, I still have goals to chase. After a shower, I wandered into the art gallery and couldn’t believe everything I’d experienced so far was all inside the same building. As the sun went down, Casa Grande became even more beautiful. The lights gave the place a magical atmosphere, making every corner feel like a scene from a movie. I unboxed a few new perfumes I’d picked up, then made my way to the rooftop where I had what might be the best cocktail I’ve ever tasted, followed by one of the most memorable plates of rice and stew I’ve ever had. Shoutout to the chef because that meal was unforgettable. I left realizing that luxury isn’t always about expensive things. Sometimes it’s about finding a place that slows your heart, clears your mind, and reminds you that healing can be as simple as changing your environment for a day.
