The same water can harden an egg and soften a potato. The same water can carry a boat or drown a person. The same fire can cook your food or burn your home. The same sun can melt ice and harden clay. The same wind can fill a sail or destroy what was never anchored. And water does not defeat rock through one powerful strike — but through persistence, drop by drop. The lesson is not that the world must change for you. Sometimes, what matters is what you become within it. Two people can face the same hardship, rejection, loss or delay — and emerge completely differently. One becomes bitter. The other becomes wiser. One loses hope. The other learns tawakkul. One allows hardship to harden the heart. The other allows it to soften the heart and bring it closer to Allah. Allah says: “Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear.” Qur’an 2:286 And: “Indeed, with hardship comes ease.” Qur’an 94:6 Pressure does not only test you. It reveals what is inside you. And sometimes the trial you desperately want Allah to remove is the very trial through which He is teaching you patience, correcting your direction, strengthening your character and returning your heart to Him. So when pressure comes, don’t only ask: “Why am I going through this?” Ask: “Who am I becoming because of it?” You may not control the water. You may not control the fire. You may not control the wind. But with Allah’s help, you can decide whether the trial takes you away from Him — or carries you closer to Him. May Allah make our hardships a means of purification, strength, wisdom and nearness to Him. May He soften our hearts without weakening us, strengthen us without hardening us, and grant us beautiful patience through every test and grant us ease upon ease. Ameen. Save this for the days when life feels heavy, and share it with someone who may need the reminder. #motivation #tiktok #islamic_video
