I have been dropping this on every Lindsay Clancy video I see. it feels so close: my mom spent the 1st 3 months of my life in a "behavioral health" hospital for severe PPD. They did electroshock therapy for this back in the 80's😳 I'm so glad my dad recognized what was happening and got her the help she needed, or I might not be here😪 She died when I was 34 years old (of a brain tumor), and all I ever remember of her was the AMAZING, loving, involved, mom that she had to go through fire and rain to be.😭 lindsay was failed by the entire medical system and her spouse, who's job it was to advocate for her in that mental state.😭 my dad is a pretty clueless boomer, but at least he did his job as a spouse...even in n 1980.

My mom was hospitalized 3 times. My dad was EXHAUSTED of her and didn’t even like her at that point. He still CALLED every day. He knew what her care was.

I asked my husband with no context, what would you do if I said I felt like harming myself or our daughter. I had to explain the trial that man was ready to have me committed, pretty sure he called his mom too. And I love that for me

I’m also wondering at what point child protective services gets involved when you have a parent calling 911 that many times about being in crisis or having thoughts of harming themselves or children. It seems like there should’ve been some kind of intervention at that point with the town as well.

the woman was in full blown psychosis and still expected to make lunches, dinners, wake up with the kids at night, plan Coras birthday party etc. when asked what he did after she told him about her intrusive thoughts he said he called her mom to come stay.. and he didn't even know her age on the 911 call. I hope Kevin Reddington chews him up and spits him out in this trial
