This is exactly what my boyfriend does to me. He sounds exactly the same. Delusions, paranoid schizophrenia, he is on ice. He’s in jail right now so I’m okay and trying to separate myself. But he always says it’s my behavior and actions that causes the way he acts but it’s creepy to me the way he sounds exactly like him.. even when it comes to the relationship with his mother. I’m so happy you’re out of this and safe and you speaking out is helping me. Keep doing what your doing

My abuser was paranoid about me “framing him” too. I started recording conversations because he would lie all the time and then pretend it never happened. He would try to convince me to delete the recordings to “stop living in the past”, but then he would keep a bunch of old text messages from me as “evidence” because he thought I looked crazy for getting upset about him hitting me. I would ask him, “if you want me to delete the recordings, why do you keep those text messages?” He would tell me that it was different when he did it lol
