It’s not in the blood.”Those words became more than a quote. They became a reminder to keep going when life felt impossible. Those words of his taught the world that mountains are climbed with courage long before they’re climbed with strength. Today, they carry a different weight. It’s hard to believe that someone who inspired so many to chase impossible dreams is gone. The mountains he loved have now become the place where we remember him. Rest in peace to Nims Dai and every climber who lost their life in the Broad Peak avalanche. My thoughts are with the families and teammates carrying this unimaginable loss. They weren’t just chasing summits. They were chasing something that called deeply to their hearts, knowing the mountains can be as unforgiving as they are beautiful. May the mountains hold you gently now. Your footsteps may have stopped, but your courage, your passion, and the lives you touched will continue to echo far beyond the peaks.
