One of the toughest battles of my life has been my battle with food addiction. It’s been part of my life for as long as I can remember as an adult. I honestly can’t even pinpoint when it began. Whenever life became stressful, overwhelming, or I needed comfort, food was always there. I became the classic comfort eater, and at times that developed into binge eating and some truly irrational decisions around food. Looking back, I know it wasn’t just about willpower. Much of it was driven by deeper psychological patterns and the way I coped with difficult emotions. Recovery has never been a straight line. I’ve had some incredible successes over the years, but I’ve also slipped backwards. That’s the reality of addiction. Progress isn’t always linear. Right now, though, I’m back on track. I’m focused, determined, and moving in the right direction once again. If you’ve been following my journey, thank you. Stick with me and let’s see where this road leads.
