Mind you but Pakistani dramas show the harsh reality of society whereas Korean dramas are based mostly on fantasy. however, there are some Pak dramas where they show strong independent women.

Pakistani drama is based on reality and k drama is only the girls imagination and only based on the rich or mafia family so plz don't compare 😭😭😭 I think you did not watch sinf e ahan ,yaqeen ka safar and Kuch ankahi if you watch these dramas your opinion will definitely change 🤝

After watching both Pakistani and Korean dramas, the difference in how women are portrayed is actually wild. Pakistani dramas are stuck on the same loop saas-bahu fights, toxic marriages, and women tolerating the bare minimum instead of leaving. It feels like struggle and “sabar” are romanticized way too much. Meanwhile, K-dramas give female leads personality, independence, and self-respect. They have goals, careers, and if a man is toxic? She leaves. Relationships are based on mutual respect, not suffering. So yeah, compared to that, a lot of Pakistani dramas feel repetitive and outdated.
