The insurance company takes time. When I my almost 100k in equipment was stolen, it took forever to get paid. You definitely are right. You need stuff now.

The people who commented about “Insurance” and “you’ll be fine, insurance will cover it” have never dealt with insurance to this scale of damages. Over a certain threshold and your own insurance, regardless of fault, will fight to NOT pay out…
