@midnight.storybook: August 1st has arrived, which means Briarwick is officially done pretending Halloween is seasonal. 🦇🎃 The city finally sanctioned the work of the former decor pranksters, and their first approved project was apparently to release a colony of giant vampire bats across town. One is drinking from the fountain. One is hanging beneath the overpass. One has claimed the public library. One is guarding the parking garage. And another wrapped itself around the movie theater after buying one ticket and bringing four hundred relatives. Last year, the city called these installations vandalism. This year, they’re calling them public art and adding them to the tourism map. That may be the most Briarwick thing that has ever happened. Which bat installation wins the first day of Halloween? 🦇🖤
