My niece was born with gastroschisis. They didn't do the silo on her because everything went in smoothly and in place. She was in the hospital for a month, but she's happy, healthy and going to be 8 months on the 9th

My step daughter had this as well. She’s 14 now and just had her very first day of high school! She hasn’t had any issues. Though we do rush her to the er when she has stomach pain 😅

My daughter has a silo for a gastric tear and wasn’t stable enough for closing surgery. She’s 15 months now and was in the hospital for 8 month of her life. You’re so strong momma! Thank you for educating those who don’t know. I was terrified to even look at my daughter’s silo. I’m hoping y’all’s journey goes great and smooth and a healthy recovery!
