I understand why some people are frustrated that I chose Super Tuna, but that’s exactly why I picked it. Super Tuna is a song like any other in Jin’s discography. Just because it’s funny and playful doesn’t make it any less meaningful or any less worthy of being recognized. In fact, Jin is the only member who had the confidence and originality to release a song like this, and I think that says a lot about him as an artist. Saying that Super Tuna doesn’t represent Jin actually undervalues the song more than it protects his image. It’s still his music, his work, and an important part of his artistic journey. Millions of people genuinely love this song, and there’s nothing wrong with celebrating that side of him too. My edit was about showing how diverse BTS are as solo artists. Every member has something unique to offer, and Jin’s willingness to embrace something as unexpected and joyful as Super Tuna is part of what makes him special. BTS wouldn’t be BTS without what Jin brings to the group, and Super Tuna is one of the many examples of his unique personality and artistry.
