yeah I get your point but maybe let's not encourage people to just roll over and let it happen? I agree a week boycott is dumb but I'd rather put a dent in things than nothing. these kinds of posts are just giving in to the investors which is never a good thing. be better for those kids.

I agree. The boycott won’t do anything. But when the PS6 and new Xbox launch in the near future, I do think they won’t meet their expectations and will have to figure out something different.

They’ll learn the hard way once it affects their wallets. As far as I know, Microsoft is going to continue selling physical media for Xbox for the next console generation. Im going to buy an Xbox console. So hey Sony will listen once they realize their wallets are going to be a bit empty.

Exactly! If we really wanted to make Sony turn their heads to us, would require a massive amount of people canceling their PS Plus subscription indefinitely and cancel all those GTA VI pre-orders, but that unfortunately just won't happen....

Cancelled PS+ a year ago and haven’t touched my PS since. Sony has always had anti consumer tendencies. Everything Sony has done over the past year has just reinforced the fact that I made a good choice canceling.

I have a couple hopes. 1 that sony and the like continue to give an option for physical. If that costs a premium, so be it. 2 if that won't happen, 3rd parties continue to make physical for ps 4/5 after sony moves on.

I want to talk on the subject but I don’t think my opinion is one that is good or nice. That said, I really do blame gaming becoming mainstream and social media becoming so prevalent in the world. Yes gaming has been big for a while but I think of a time when it would be 1/10th of the people I talked to who actually played games. Now I don’t even have to bring it up anymore because it’s everywhere. I see billboards for game stores. And social media mixed so many different people that everyone is in everyone else’s spaces without even trying. That said, the rise of arcades would have to happen again for us to reclaim gaming from the corporations but I know they’d grab at that eventually too. That said I’m just as much of a problem because I pay to play a game that is in such a terrible state (WoW) but me being someone who has played the game since the beginning is no longer the audience there either. The story is in shambles (and has been for a while) and they changed focus to selling $15-$90 cosmetics over fixing their game. Sorry for such a long post.
