Lois cant imagine the guilt of hearing the suffering of every living creature on planet earth and not helping knowing that you can. The moral injury of being Clark Kent, who is genuinely just kind and good natured, would be too much for him to bear.

Clark saving a squirrel mid kaiju fight was one of my favorite scenes in the whole movie because it was so small but it captured Superman so well. Life is precious to him and he will do everything he can to save every one

I am literally so upset that my dad called this movie “woke-slop“ and said that James Gunn ruined the character of Superman when for me, this is the most accurate comic book depiction of Superman I have ever seen since Christopher Reeve.

as a palestinian, seeing this movie in theatres made me sob. that scene where theyre chanting his name, knowing that they might all be murdered in the next five minutes. superman doesnt exist, but we as people have to give each other hope. we have to save each other, we cant keep waiting on a mythical hero to do it for us.
