my heal was shattered in a car accident. they said it would be 2 years. I am a 1/4 of an inch shorter on 1 side than the other which caused my hip problems. I went to work in a boot. and worked the whole time. you can do what you have to do. I had no one else to help. you make a way a figure things out.
