Kinda besides the point, but I have an English teacher from the US and when we, as a class, met him for the first time he said something along the lines: did you know I'm also Czech? (it happened in a czech school) Part of my family emigrated to the US in the 1850s. He doesn't know the language and knows almost nothing about the culture and mentality. I mean you can have Czech ancestors but if it is that far back, in my opinion, it doesn't really matter. My grandfather literally only spoke slovak (his parents were) before going to school here in the Czech part of the country at the time and I don't claim to be Slovak. I just don't really understand the need to claim you are so and so when you as a person have never been there, don't know the language and don't have the same mentality

I cringe so hard when they start cussing in russian. Majority of the slavic languages all have their own cuss words. Apart from egdelords, nodoby swear in russian
