I think Bon is a separate entity that just took over Jack's body after he died. Bon has some kind of obsession with Jack as he seems to be envious of his career and his perfect family. When Jack died Bon saw an opportunity and used Jack as a vessel to carry out this obsession. Taking his life, his career, and his family and turning it into his own.

Insane theory but what if bon is someone Jack killed accidentally on one of his hunting trips with Felix and that’s why Felix started drinking, while Jack moved on quickly until Sophie made the drawing of him carrying a dead hare (bon the HARE) so that made him wanna burn the rest of the evidence but it freed bons soul and killed Jack, forcing Jack to be a backseat passenger in bons killings of his family (which explains why bon cries every time he kills) and why when bon said I know where your husband is, it was just bon.

I have a theory. We know that a few weeks after the accident, Felix hid Rocket somewhere in the restaurant. I think that on the day of his disappearance, Jack found the doll and realized his children were inside. Wanting to be with them, he k himself right after calling Rose and took possession of Bon so he could find them.

THIS MIGHT BE WRONG BUT my theory is jack probably offed himself, by sh00ting himself in the mouth or something like that this could be wrong but (his injuries do tell a story somewhat)
