I had a nursing box that only came out when out when I was nursing. It had fun toys that were different than the one that we only have. It went away when baby was done so it stayed a hot commodity.

My mom always gave us a baby doll when there was a new baby. When she would feed her baby we would “feed ours”

A busy basket! Fill it with reusable sticker books, water wow books, little toys. Bring it out only when you’re sitting down to nurse, and she can play right next to you. The activities will feel new, special, and exciting if she doesn’t have access to them all the time 🫶🏼

I put a couple ice cubes in a pot and gave him a wooden spoon to “cook” while i cooked— fairly easy clean up 🤣

when i was a nanny for a family with kids very close in age together they had a gate around the living area in front of the couch and they had bins of toys and the kids just couldn’t get out but had so much in that area to entertain themselves

Exclusively pumping saved me. Nursing almost took me OUT. The ONLY con is that u have parts to wash but even then you have the fridge method. Wearable pumps for when u need to get stuff done was AMAZING.

Color wonder- the no mess marker + color pages. The play kitchen sinks w water like $30 on Amazon I just lay a big towel down. Wasn’t as messy as I thought it would be.

I have a tonie box my son was 19 months when my 3rd was born he’s 2 months now. Also I got our toys he didn’t see all the time. If all else fails ms Rachel 😅😂

Transfer items from one bin to another. Get a box and put a bunch of one item in it and then find another bin to transfer to. For instance get a plastic cup put a punch of spoons in it and then find another cup maybe a metal cup that is somehow different or a tupperwear container. Laundry basket with a small amount of clothes from one basket to another

Hey, Girl! Mom of 5 here. Get a bin of toys to let her play. You are killing it! Everything will fall into place. Get everyone little jobs to make them feel included. Can you count out three wipes for me? Can you hand me this? Whose turn was it to grab the diaper? Mess will happen! It comes with this season....Take the time to soak it up!

About the no thing, depending on why, I would not punish because you want her to be able to express no to things she should outside of the home as she gets older.
