If it burns a quart a week, its creating a constant smoke screen around the neighbourhood. Even a tiny amount of oil burned smokes a lot! A quart per week sounds more like a leak. A drop now and then, onto the under engine plastic cover, and it gets drained off the cover when making turns, so you never see the drops on the grond.

An oil leak can be so many things bro 😭 any seal the engine has on it can be an oil leak, loose drain plug, oil pan, crack in the block, I could keep going 😭

see i just had the same issue and i was hoping you had made a video on it bc i think my truck is also burning oil at around 180,000 miles but theres no blue smoke or oil spots under the truck, does anyone know what may be wrong with it?

my truck has 180k mi and it Doesn't burn oil lol if I add 6qts it'll have 6qts next oil change and no I didn't do anything to it. I've babied this truck with service and parts

180k is bearly high mileage, and even at really high mileage theres absolutely nothing "normal" about loosing a quart of oil a week

I mean if it’s a small burn you won’t have visible blue smoke. My ol Honda would burn just enough that it went from max to min on the dipstick but no blue smoke

I would consider anything over 175k high milage and anything over 225k end of life. But it depends on how it was driven and maintained.

Can you explain the meaning of oil numbers? For instance what do the first & second numbers mean? For example: 10w30. What does the 10 mean & what does the 30 mean? What is the relation of these numbers?

how about overheating mainly when it's hot outside? 2012 Ford focus. when it does it goes from half to all the way pretty quickly.
