if I'm in a place with artists, creators, sculptures, I really don't want to see some cheap free use assets sitting on a table where actual crafts could be. even 3d printed works with passion or originality are fine.

Personally I don’t think that any products should be 3D printed, the only real use for it is prototyping things that you can make using other manufacturing methods like injection molding. 3D printing is super useful, but it has so many drawbacks. Most notably being structural integrity and an unprofessional final product. All the examples you showed could be made much better if they were injection molded. That is unless the file is sold and the consumer makes it themselves

I think print lines are ugly, and the amount of work needed to make them go away eliminates the low labor and low cost. not to mention that the cost savings on the manufacturing process aren't usually reflected in the price, so they all feel overpriced. plus, when everybody knows somebody with a printer or even owns one, why buy something for $10 when I can download something similar and print it myself? not to mention plastic just inherently feels cheap to handle, so the premium looks of designed products fall flat with a cheap feel

Yep. I love 3D printing but I won't sell something that wasn't unique and designed by my artist friend (or in some cases me). I don't feel like it's worthwhile otherwise.
