we don't use tampons. We use pads, a pack of pads costs around a dollar, so it's really cheap.. tampons are uncommon and criticized by society, which makes them target foreigners more than local habitants. In Europe or America, they sell them around 6-8 dollars, which is a reasonable price for foreigners ❤️

growing up in a greek village we also had prejudice against tampons, i only found out about them when i turned 18, grannies would tell me only slts or married women wore those 😭
