i think the summer crowd are worse for this...i can never just enjoy autumn and winter without people complaining about the weather, dark nights and talking about their next summer holiday 😭 so its autumn all year round for me 🤎🍂

I’m not touching cosy autumn until mid September/ start of October. At the end of the day if I can’t enjoy the last few weeks of summer in September back at uni with my friends - bbq nights, beach sunsets and the like then what makes life worth living yk

I’m the same love Halloween and autumn but it’s so annoying like when it’s the season you want to be out autumn shopping but you can’t because everything’s gone, it’s ruining it!

I love autumn with all my heart, the second half of the year is absolutely my favourite, but I can't get behind autumn in July/August. By the time the season is here, we're already chasing the next one. That's why so many people take down their Christmas trees on the 26th of December. We stopped enjoying things in real time and live for the anticipation.

It's because it's been hot since May lol This has been a long hot summer, it's now the last month of summer, I don't think it's that's weird for autumn people to start getting excited about now.

It's really frustrating. Christmas is forced on us so early as well, I'm Catholic so I try and hold off until Advent starts but it's forced on us from the second Halloween ends so I find I'm not even that excited by the time December rolls around

In the shops defence, with the cost of living it’s better to put it out early; so everyone can spread the cost over the months and not be hit with all the decor all at once

Completely agree with everything you have said 🫶🏻 I’ve been trying this year to appreciate each season and not just keep wishing for the next. In winter I craved for not needing to wear a coat everytime I left the house and blue skies with sunshine and now I’m a bit hot and bothered have found myself craving the cosyness of autumn. The amount of videos I’ve seen saying run to b and m as the autumn range is out has really tempted me to do exactly that but have told myself to just slow down, enjoy August and what it brings along with it 💕

I’ve started to buy a few of my autumn bits ready (so I dont miss out on it!), but until it’s past my birthday on 19th August and we’re into September, I won’t decorate until then! But I am VERY VERY excited 🥰😁

i think its important to appreciate the now. HOWEVER i think being excited for the next season is equally important and natural. the anticipation of waiting for both spring and autumn is unmatched
